Hut Reservations Lottery |
It's our most important fund-raising event, your first chance for winter hut reservations, and a great way to renew old friendships and make new ones.
Support our no-fee backcountry. We charge no fees to use our backcountry ski trails and only $15 per person per night to make hut reservations, yet we need to cover over $10,000 in operating expenses each year. The Gala is our most important fund raising event. Without it, we could not afford to operate our system!
We need your help. Please attend this year's Gala, become a member, and participate in the fun of the silent auction and raffle. And better yet, donate goods or services for the raffle and silent auction.
Your first chance for winter hut reservations! If you're interested in a weekend or holiday hut stay, this may be your only chance. Most of these reservations are filled at our Gala event. Each attendee will get one lottery ticket for hut reservations, but can buy additional tickets at $10 each. Throughout the Gala, names picked will have their choice of remaining dates and huts. Attend the Gala -- It's your best, and likely only, shot at getting a weekend reservation in your favorite hut!
Please join us for this fun and important event!

Post Gala Fliers. Just print out several copies of our and post them at work, schools, local businesses, clubs, etc. This is an easy and effective way to support our backcountry!
Donate goods or services.
We need items to sell in our silent auction or award as
raffle ticket prizes. All proceeds support our trail system
and donations are tax deductible. We are a 501-(C)(3)
Nonprofit and our federal tax id is #91-1475988.
Outdoor equipment is always in demand, but other items such as gift baskets (with coffee, wine, etc.) also sell well. We are interested in used equipment that is in good condition. Gift certificates for overnight cabin stays, ski lessons, equipment rental or dinners often bring top dollar and serve to advertise the donor's business.
If you have something to donate, please bring it the Gala event at the Seattle REI store between 12:00pm and 2:00pm. Your donations are greatly appreciated!
Volunteer - Find Your Niche.
It takes many volunteers with many different skills to put on
our largest event. We need help with planning, advertising,
soliciting donations, making displays telling the MTTA story,
staffing the sign-in and membership tables, staffing the hut
reservations and silent auction processes,
setting up before the event and cleaning up after it.
If you can help,
please contact our Gala Auction Committee
as soon as possible.
We appreciate any help you can provide!
