Copper Creek Hut, located in our North District off the 92 Road, is our most accessible and most popular hut. The very gradual ascent in is beginner-friendly, and families with small children frequently visit this hut.
Copper Creek has an extensive network of nearby trails serving all levels of trekers; from the short "ridge view" loop to longer trips to Glacier Vista and the Puyallup Lookout Tower.
Of the three huts located in our South District, Snow Bowl is the easiest to reach. It's a great base for overnight backcountry skiing and snowshoeing adventures. Snow Bowl now sleeps 10.

Sitting atop a high ridge in our South District, High Hut is both challenging and rewarding to reach. The unobstructed view of Rainier is one of the best anywhere, and if that's not enough, there are views of St. Helens, the Cascade Range, the Olympics and part of Mt Adams. High Hut sleeps eight.
High Hut can be reached via a groomed logging road (beginner to intermediate skiing skills are recommended) or via an ungroomed backcountry route via Anderson Lakes. Long steep slopes will entice expert telemarkers while snowshoers explore the more moderate treed slopes near the hut.
